Description
Want to create your own filament swatch set and keep full control over the colors and materials you’re testing? This organizer holds up to 25 filament samples, letting you keep everything in one place and instantly check how each filament looks when printed.
Key Features
- Organizer for 25 samples – includes a side label “filament swatches” and a bottom groove for easy viewing and pushing out individual samples.
- Dual-side sliding lid – can be closed from either side and features an automatic locking mechanism that prevents it from opening unintentionally, so your samples stay secure.
- Layered sample design – shows different wall thicknesses, making it easy to check a filament’s transparency.
- Customizable text – each sample includes engraved material type, color, and code. You can add your own text in Bambu Studio with the following recommendations:
- Material name: font height 9–8 mm, thickness 0.4 mm
- Color name: font height 8–7 mm, thickness 0.4 mm
- Ready-to-use presets + blank samples – includes pre-made material/color labels for Bambu Lab filaments, and blank versions so you can create your own.
- Hole for stringing samples – every swatch includes a hole so you can group them with a string or clip. Perfect if you don’t want to print the organizer (though it's highly recommended).
How to add custom text in Bambu Studio
Open your swatch model in Bambu Studio and use the Add Text tool. Apply the recommended font heights and thickness:
- Material name: 9–8 mm height, 0.4 mm thickness
- Color name: 8–7 mm height, 0.4 mm thickness
Enter your text, position it as desired, and you’re ready to print your personalized swatch. The last image in the gallery or in the documentation includes a short instructional video showing exactly how to do this.
