Description

Maybe this print requires some explaining.

The clips are designed to stop the duvet from sliding around in the cover and all bunching up on one end.

The clips work like this:

When making the bed, before putting the duvet in the cover, attach the duvet to the inside-out cover using a clip in each corner (just in the top ones is usually enough). And then you proceed in making the bed as you normally would.

We had a project in school in which we set up a little company, like a startup. And the group I set out with decided to tackle the problem of duvets sliding around in the cover at night, because that's a problem some people have (and they hate it!). We looked at existing solutions and did some research into what people would be willing to do to solve it, which led to the conclusion that a hidden option would be best and it should obviously be quite small. (Surprise!)

So I started designing them… and it took a while before we found a solution that worked. But we did it (which is more or less what you find here.) (We also found Austrian recycled filament, so we went with that (nobufil).

We then proceeded to selling them at events organised by the school and another organisation, and people actually bought them, good for them!

I also showcased out prototypes in the image gallery. Only the clips seen in the thumbnail are in the print profile. And god, did we have many prototypes! Fusion 360 makes a new version of something every time I hit cmd+s, but I ended up at like v130, and that was only that “version branch”, so that's not even counting all the previous ones.
