Bill of Materials
Description
The mechanism in a retractable pen, often called a click mechanism, typically involves a spring, a cam, and a plunger. When the button is pressed, the plunger moves, rotating the cam and extending or retracting the plunger. The spring provides the tension for retraction.

Tips & Tricks
- Apply lubricant grease to the surfaces of the rotor and plunger. Ensuring these surfaces are properly treated is crucial to prevent the mechanism from stuck.
To improve the rotor’s performance, we can use adaptive layer height to increase the surface smoothness in specific areas.
