Does your Ikea Ivar not fit in the intended space?
Boards too long, too short, or even too narrow? Here is my solution: Ikea Ivar Shelf Holder. With these, custom-cut boards from the hardware store can be hung in the Ivar - in your desired length and width.
The holder is universally applicable, the design allows mounting on both front and rear uprights - and is compatible with 30 and 50cm Ivar. It is placed directly onto the original 6x40 steel pins. For attachment to the board, there are countersunk holes on the upright and underside for 4x25/16 standard screws.
The used (pine) board was loaded with 20kg of weight.
