Airbrush Paint Turntable Model Stand

This is a Turntable Base I made for painting my Gundam, Whammer 40k, Miniatures and 3D Prints. I usually just lay them flat but sometimes I use Alligator clips.

There two versions: holes are 2mm OR 3mm wide and 7mm deep.
You need a single 608RS or 608ZZ bearing (22m wide, 8mm inner diameter, 7mm height).
I bought these ones from Amazon (other brands might vary slightly in diameter).
 

For Testing if your Alligator clips work I added some Test pieces that you can quickly print if you don't have a caliper to measure the diameter of the alligator clips wire.

Press the bearing firmly into the plate (should be flush) and then carefully clip it onto the Bottom piece. If attached firmly it doesn't wiggle (additionally you should add some superglue).

On the Bottom Part you can put 6 rubber feet to prevent slipping. I used 8mm wide, 1mm high ones.

Optionally you can print the pyramids to stick them into the holes (just make sure not to break them). When you paint obejcts with flat surfaces on the bottom it helps covering as less surface as possible.

EDIT: Some users had trouble with tolerances and wobbly so I tightened down the tolerances on the 3mm Version to make it fit to snap with the bearing. You can still add some superglue but you WILL need to use rubber feet now to prevent the bottom to slip when to rotate the plate (logically its now bit more harder to turn)
