         This series is a newly optimized, fan-made version of the official Bambu Lab filament spool. It includes three models: a 170mm (small size) specifically optimized for the A1 mini build plate and a 200mm (full size) lightweight version for standard AMS. Through innovative structural design and topological optimization, it achieves extreme lightweighting (126g-150g vs. official 235g) while maintaining strength, significantly reducing filament and printing time costs. It integrates an original internal filament locking solution, completely resolving issues of filament damage and inconvenient storage caused by traditional locking methods

• Platform Compatibility Optimization:
  • 170mm Small Size: Its design diameter is perfectly adapted for the Bambu A1 mini's 180x180mm build plate, solving the pain point that the official full-size spool cannot be printed on the A1 mini. It is also designed for external spool holders and AMS lite, and is not compatible with AMS/AMS 2 Pro. The spool diameter is precisely calculated to perfectly hold filament, enabling "full spool" storage. It can be directly placed back into the original filament packaging box with the spool, saving space and avoiding disassembly.
  • 200mm Full Size: Optimized for standard AMS systems, focusing on lightweighting and filament savings, with sufficient strength for daily use.
• Innovative Internal Filament Lock: Completely overturns the traditional "external feed-through" filament locking method.
  • Triple protrusions are designed on the inner edge of the spool. The two end protrusions serve as guide blocks, with a central integrated 2.5mm filament locking hole; the middle one is a resistance block.
  • Operation Logic: Thread the filament through the locking holes of the end guide blocks in sequence, and press it under the central resistance block. Precisely calculated physical resistance effectively secures the filament end without bending it.
  • Core Advantages: The filament locking process is completed entirely inside the spool, with zero exposed filament ends, allowing for perfect stacked storage; it prevents filament bending, eliminating filament damage caused by locking from a physical principle standpoint; operation is also more convenient and intuitive.

• 170mm Strength Version (145g): Recommended as the first choice. Achieves the best balance between weight and strength, with high durability. Tailored for A1 series users.
• 170mm Lightweight Version (126g): For those pursuing ultimate lightness and filament savings. Strength meets most usage scenarios. Provides the most economical printing solution for A1 series users.

Printing Recommendations

• Material: It is recommended to use PLA or PETG for printing to ensure structural toughness and durability.
• Layer: A 0.2mm layer is recommended for optimal surface finish and structural strength.
• Infill: The model is already optimized for strength; print with default settings.
• Platform Note: The 170mm version can be perfectly printed on the A1 mini (180x180mm platform).
