Description

I wanted to add extra lighting for my printer, but I didn't want to build an LED riser and mess with wiring it to the printer. So I took a battery powered under-cabinet LED lighting kit and built a mount for it.

HOWEVER, i'm sure use can just stick LED strips…I would just make sure they don't get hot!

The mount can be placed anywhere on your top glass, and It can also hook onto the glass's handle for people that prop the glass open.

This is the lighting that i'm using:

12 Inch Motion Sensor Under Cabinet Light Wireless with Remote and Timer, 86 LEDs Rechargeable Dimmable Under Counter Lights for Closet, Hallway, Stairway, Wardrobe, Kitchen, Magnetic LED Lights

Amazon Canada: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0C58WV34W/

Amazon USA: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Rechargeable-Dimmable-Stairway-Wardrobe/dp/B0C58WV34W/

IF YOU USE A DIFFERENT LIGHT: PLEASE ENSURE THAT IT DOESN'T GET HOT!

  • The back of the lighting device is magnetic, and includes a metal strip that you can glue to the printed mount. This allows you to easily attach the lighting device to the mount
  • There are holes in my printed mount for the IR Sensor, and also there is a hole in place to access the USB port for charging - or to keep it continuously powered.
  • Remote Control also fits inside the mount for easy storage
