Description

My wife uses these hair claws to hold up her long hair during the shower and they are constantly breaking. I thought I might as well print her a replacement and reuse the torsion spring from her broken hair claws.

It is just a simple design based on what you can find in store and online, just reworked it to fit the spring size I had. It fits the standard 9mm-10mm torsion spring with approximate 25mm rod.

It takes a bit of force to install the spring but you will know you did it right if the rod doesn't fall out, the tension will keep it in.

Due to the curved shape, it will require supports but I have tried to keep it to a minimum

You can get the spring and rods for a dollar on AliExpress.
