Description

Introduction

A stylish and modular Eurorack case!

There's a lot of excellent cases out there for eurorack, but they tend to be pricy and not always the most stylish affair. My aim with this project was to create a stylish eurorack case that can easily be customized and expanded for your needs as you learn and/or grow your setup.

The mid sections come in a variety of sizes, from 16hp to 48hp wide. Combining them can allow you to get just about any size needed. There's stand options for single row and dual row stands. Brass inserts are used throughout for long term durability and customization. Case depth is roughly 68mm.

Featured Filaments:

Bambu PLA Copper Brown Metallic

Bambu PLA Iron Gray Metallic

Hardware:

M3x6mm Socket Head Machine Screws (Used for the main assembly) (Like these from Amazon)

M3x12mm Socket Head Machine Screws (Used for the stands) (Like these from Amazon)

M3 Nuts (Used for the stands) (Like these from Amazon)

M3 Square Nuts (For the Slide rail/mounting of modules) (I used these from Amazon)

M3 Brass Inserts (Like these from Amazon)

You can get a general assortment like this one from Amazon. Just make sure it has enough M3x6 screws for the full assembly you want to do!

Additional Hardware Recommendations:

Behringer CP1A Power Supply (From Amazon) - I used these power supplies from Behringer and they worked out great

Befaco M3 Knurlies eurorack Screws (From PerfectCircuit) I recommend these Befaco screws for attaching your eurorack modules!

Assembly Instructions

For the stands, we'll first insert the M3 hex nut into the dial, we'll then slide the dial into the stand and secure it in place with a M3x12mm Machine screw. Make sure to tighten it down
On the case sections themselves, we'll insert M3 brass inserts. We'll use these to connect the stands to the case.
We'll connect everything together using these connectors. There's two styles. One for the mid sections and one for the ends. Each type uses 2 M3 brass inserts
For the ends, we'll just slide the connector pieces in and screw everything into place using the M3x6mm machine screws
Just like with the ends, we'll use the connectors to secure everything together. Slide them into place and then use M3x6mm machine screws to secure everything
