Description
I got a free KC010 lithophane backlight kit! 🎉 …but I don't need one. So I made this instead!
Transform your KC010 into an LED light bar that has many different use cases. Simply the glue the bottom housings together. route your cables through the channels and holes, plug in and insert the LED PCBs, and snap on the diffusion panels! The clear PETG diffusion makes for a much softer light which creates softer shadows and is easy on the eyes.
It just so happens to fit perfectly in my Craftsman toolbox and provides a perfect amount of light right where I need it!
I recommend printing everything in PETG or something stronger but PLA would work just fine in controlled environments.
