Description

Inspired by Tom Rossaus magnificent TR747 pendant lamp which I learned to love a while ago I set out to take my own turn on designing a Pendant Lamp featuring paper planes.

These are scaled so that they fit an a A1 Mini print bed.

You will need to print 1 center piece and 24 identical paperplanes.

Additionally you will need 24 approx. 250mm long carbon fiber rods with a square cross section of 3mm.

To ensure that these will fit with your setup, I highly recommend to print the TEST PIECES and adjust the scale by small fractions to get a tight but comfortable fit.

The center piece is designed to be used with an IKEA SUNNEBY socket. For that you need to remove the terminal and the upper part of the socket. Have a qualified person re-attach the Terminal and mount the finished lamp. I do not take any responsibility.

As a light bulb I recommend the IKEA Solhetta 95mm version.

Have fun!
