This beautiful, simple and contemporary towel rail, hooks over glass shower screens. It features 3 hooks with ribbed patterns for extra grip on the towels, and anti-slip backing feet to prevent it sliding around or scratching the glass. Perfect for anyone with a modern, contemporary bathroom and ideal for renters!
I've tested it on shower screens that are between 8-12mm thick and it works very well. It prints with minimal support and then is easily assembled without the need for any tools or fasteners.
The design supports 3 towels so it is perfect for a couple with 1 extra hand towel. The design features self adhesive silicone feet stickers (linked below) which help prevent the hook sliding when a heavy wet towel is on one side.
It also works beautifully on a shower screen door for the floor mat. I've been using mine for a few weeks and it helps dry the foot towel quicker.
I would recommend printing this in PETG, ABS or ASA to ensure the weight and heat / water does not deform the print. I've been using mine for a few months without issues, but over time PLA may not be the best material choice.

Assembly Instructions:
![]() | Step 1: Print all of the parts. |
![]() | Step 2: Remove the support. Ensure you have removed all the support from all of the snap joint holes and the mating faces. |
![]() | Step 3: Snap all of the larger snap connectors into the larger body section. I would recommend using alternating alignment eg horizontal, vertical, horizontal or vise versa, but this is not 100% required. I found using a flat head screwdriver pressed in the centre of the slot helpful. |
![]() | Step 4: Repeat this step with the smaller snap joints on the smaller body section. |
![]() ![]() | Step 5: Align the two sections together and push until all the snap connectors are fully seated. It should and does feel extremely secure if connected properly. |
![]() | Step 6: Peel and stick the silicone non slip stickers into the recessed circle slots. 7 in total. |
Silicone Buffers:
The Silicone Buffers are Optional, but I would highly recommend you use these or something similar. Without these bumpers, when you put a towel on 1 side and the hook is unbalanced, it rotates.
The ones I used are super cheap and regularly available. They are listed as 8mm Self-Adhesive Elastic Buffers. They measure 3mm in height and I'd suggest making sure yours are similar in height to this.
Anything 8mm in diameter and around 3mm in height will work for this design!
I purchased mine from Amazon here (Europe) 4 Euros for 100 pcs:

Please note: This model does have support. The support is manually generated and its placement is minimised as much as possible, but it will take a few minutes to remove the support, and you will need clippers (like in the pictures above) and potentially a small screwdriver, scalpel or blade and pliers. A support free version of this model isn't possible unfortunately, but I have printed this, multiple times with these settings and been able to remove all supports and assemble them within 5 mins each time.
