Description

This is a remix of stah's Dillon 650XL Index Cam version 1.7 over at Thingiverse. I printed his (or hers) variant but already after a few hundred cases it proved weak on my* XL650. One problem was the reloading platform hitting the Index Cam on the downward movement causing a dent in the Index Cam pressing it down and hence putting a uncalled force on the Index Cam and denting it (see picture of blue Index Cam).

I modified it by adding both parts and negative parts to the STL in BambuStudio. The positive parts ads strength to the Index Cam, the negative parts releases tension to the Index Cam at the point where the reloading platform hits the Index Cam and on a part where Ring Indexer hits the Index Cam near the mounting support. If i had the original CAD file i would have redesign it from the ground but as i only had the STL i added both the parts and the negative parts instead.

Just add a 608ZZ bearing and you'll be on your way. The pin is press fit.

* With my XL650 i mean my XL650, the original print design might work just fine with your XL650/XL750. It's imperative to me that you understand this. I'm not trying to collect Bambu points on someone else work here. I'm providing, as i see it, an improvement on an otherwise nice design.
