🔩 Industrial Chimney – 1/32 Scale

Assembled height: 100.2 cm
Base dimensions: 14 cm x 14 cm

Original model freely inspired by industrial chimneys, specially designed for 1/32 scale model railway layouts.

The complete model measures 100.2 cm once assembled and consists of the following elements:

  • Square base
  • Square/round transition piece
  • Barrel (in 5 segments)
  • Crown
  • Ladder
  • Crinoline

🔧 Assembly

Assembly is simple. I recommend using small drops of cyanoacrylate glue for a clean and strong assembly.
The chimney is designed to be glued against a building or a wall structure, which facilitates its integration into an urban or industrial setting.

🧱 Technical Details

Brick modeling:
Each brick measures 7 x 2 mm with recessed joints of 0.4 mm. This allows for very realistic painting: by lightly dabbing with foam, the bricks are colored while the joints remain visible, without requiring meticulous rework.

Preparation for accessories:
The model is pre-drilled for the installation of the ladder and crinoline. It is recommended to slightly enlarge the holes with a 1.5 mm drill bit after printing to facilitate insertion.

🖨️ Printing

  • Designed for printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle
  • Compatible with Bambu Lab A1 mini
  • Print time (base, barrel, crown): ~1 day and 23 hours
  • Filament consumption: ~1.3 kg of PLA
  • The ladder and crinoline are to be printed separately (files and profiles available)

Update of January 3, 2026: the transformation of the upper part of the base has been replaced to obtain a flatter and more realistic rendering.
