Description

A fun set of colorful dinosaur shadow puppets. Use them for shadow puppets, general play, or party favors/decorations. Print them in multiple colors or as 1 color. These are quick prints that are fun to play with. Just make sure to clean your bed before printing for proper adhesion and release. So far I have only pritned these with PLA, but I haven't had any issues. If you have any suggestions for other dinosaurs to add please let me know.

Print Profile differences

I have uploaded 2 print profiles Thin and Thick

  • The Thin- The back of the shadow puppets is only 1 layer while the outer wall is 1.5 mm this provides enough rigidity to make it a functional toy. The thinness of the back really makes the color pop howver because its only one layer there may be pinholes around the edge of the print. If you have trouble printing this one try the thick

  • The Thick- The back of this model is .5mm thick with the same 1.5 outer wall this provides a more riged overall puppet and eliminates the small pinholes that can happen with the thin model. (To save on filament changes the bottom .5mm of this model is all one color including the handle)

P.S.

My hope is that these will print well with translucent filament, thus giving another dimmension to when using them as shadow puppets. I only have standard PLA currently so I wasn't able to test that out. If you have a translucent fillament please consider giving it a try and posting a picture.

Happy Printing.
