Description

Disclaimer: Use at your own risk. There is no certainty of print quality. I have had no issues with strength or delamination, but your holds may break on you.

Hold is designed to be mounted with #8 screws.

This is a model to be used in pairs to form an adjustable pinch on your climbing wall. If you reduce the edge slope, you could even print several small ones so the fingers are uneven. If there's any issue with the parameterization like screw placement, let me know in a comment and I'll add some more options for screw selection. You should be able to edit the following parameters of ‘pinch pair side.scad’ online through MakerWorld:

hold depth (mm) - Edge size from wall

hold width (mm) - Width between edge and flat side (may need to be increased if angle is sharp)

hold height (mm) - Length of pinch

edge radius (mm) - Roundover on edge

edge angle (degrees) - incut (negative) or slope (positive) of edge

end angle (degrees) - slope of pinch ends to make them (un)usable as desired

I kept getting served ads for Atomik's adjustable pinch pairs. Took a look and thought they seemed simple enough and offered more flexibility as a parametric model. Here's their product if you want a professional version or want to look at their recommendations for angle/setting tips:
