Albanian Double-Headed Eagle – Wall Decoration
This wall decoration features the Albanian heraldic animal, the double-headed eagle, as an elegant silhouette. The hanging device is neatly integrated on the back, so the front remains free of visible holders. Depending on the lighting, the cut-out contours create a beautiful shadow on the wall.
Printing Notes
- One-piece, optimized for FDM, no support needed.
- Print flat on the build plate with the back facing down.
- Recommended: 0.20 mm layer height (finer is also possible, of course), 0.4 mm nozzle, 10–15% infill.
- Material: PLA for indoors; PETG or ASA if it can get warmer/sunnier.
- Optional: “Ironing” for a particularly smooth front.
Assembly
- Hang on a nail/screw using the hanging device on the back.
- Alternatively, strong double-sided adhesive pads/power strips work on smooth walls.
Color & Finish Tips
- Print classically in Black (matching the flag).
- For more contrast, a red backplate can be used or the wall area behind it can be painted red.
- Lightly deburr edges after printing.
Scaling
- Freely scalable. For very large sizes, increase perimeter/wall thickness to improve rigidity.
