Description
š§± Stacked Tile Remix - Manual Stacking for Efficient Printing
This is a remix of the tile system originally developed byĀ David D, with tile generation byĀ BlackjackDuck - huge thanks to both! I've added a manual stacking solution to help streamline the printing process, especially since the generator currently has some bugs when it comes to stacking.
To reduce handling time, Iāve started manually stacking the tiles in fixed sizes. Iām currently testingĀ different stack size, which are working well so far. My goal is to reach 10ā12 stacked tiles, and Iāve already prepared profiles up to 7-stack configurations.
- š§© If you need help with other sizes, feel free to reach out - happy to assist!
- š When stacking manually, add 0.4mm per tile to maintain proper fit
- š„ If you're using PETG supports, make sure to match your bed temps with your PLA settings to avoid adhesion issues
kfc old remark - This is still in testing, but I figured others might benefit from the workflow. Itās a step-by-step approach, and Iāll keep refining it as I go.
now that I've completed the testing, I can upload the entire collection - stay tuned and enjoy this short gif

Change Log
š§ Update 25-10-25
The version with screws (and without connectors) now includes the full grid layout.
Next up: Iāll be uploading the remaining profiles Iāve designed in various sizes to cover the entire grid and its possibilities.
Thanks for your patience - it took a while because I wanted to print and test everything to ensure it all works smoothly.
š§ Update 25-10-09
Added Double-Quintuple files
š§ Update 25-09-16
just found out a way to reduce dramatically the printing time just by positioning the tiles better which basically manage better the filament change process - look at that!!:
before 8X8 5 tiles stack was 15h and now 14h - full hour
and the crazy amount of 14.4 g of filament :D
this update include a wide range of sizes into it currently only w/o screws but w/ connectors - will add more profile later
9X7 - 9X2, 8X9 - 8X2, 7X7 - 7X2, 6X6 - 6X2, 5X5 - 5X2, 4X4 - 4X2, 3X3 - 3X2, 2X2

š§ Update 25-09-11
So after some testing - the gap is small in my opinion so I've raised it to 0.3 and seems to be operating perfectly,
Also tested 10 stacked tiles version seems to be working smoothly - will run some more tested and will share the profile
Added 8X8 plate tile size per request - feel free to add more requests for different sizes
Ā keep in mind to remove the tower for printers with less then 280mm bed size

š§ Update 25-09-04
seems like the gap can be reduced I'm currently testing the possibilities and so far I've managed to reduced to 0.2 between tiles - saving time and filament :)
Ā
š§ Update 25-08-31
Quad are working fine - this week testing will be limited to - 5-7 stack tiles
