Description

Next up in the Harry Potter watch party, Order of the Phoenix! This one was difficult to decide what to make, but we thought the crystal ball would be neat! It uses a NEOPIXEL LED light ring in the base to light up the translucent filament. Fill the inside of the orb with Polyfill (any brand should work, random one provided in the BOM) to block out certain sections and make it look cloudy like it does in the movie. Move and concentrate the polyfill however you want to really bring this piece to life!

The two pieces fit together, you just need to really push them. To get them apart you'll need to slide a flathead screwdriver in there. There is a screw portion on the larger part of the orb. This was my original design for connecting the two pieces, but the press fit just works better. I did not want to redesign the larger orb, so I just left the screw piece in!
