Description
For more organization and tidiness at the workplace, I decided on the Ikea Skadis system. Since I have a height-adjustable desk, I wanted to integrate the system onto the desk and mount it around the corner. Since I want to mount my Mac Mini on the system wall, the construction must be stable and secure.
The mounting set includes a left and right clamp each with an M16 threaded screw for attachment to the desk plate. For a linear alignment of the system plates, I designed a central clamp to hold the system plates from the left and right, also with an M16 threaded screw. The outer clamps are also designed as variants with slotted holes to screw them to the system plates if needed. For the corner connection, I chose stable angle connectors with slotted holes for screw connection, and I must say the wall is rock solid. I will definitely build and design more with this Skadis system.
