đď¸ Hades/Pluto - Helmet of Invisibility đ
đŽ The Story Behind It
The âHelmet of Invisibilityâ is one of the most fascinating artifacts of greek and roma mythology. According to legend, it was forged by the mighty Cyclopes in the depths of the underworld, together with other divine weapons such as Zeusâs thunderbolt and Poseidonâs trident. Bestowed upon Hades, the god of the underworld, the helmet granted the wearer the ability to vanish from sight and move undetected. This gift of concealment made it a symbol of mystery, secrecy, and hidden power. The myths tell us that even Perseus used it during his quest to slay Medusa, reminding us of its role not only in the divine realm but also in heroic adventures.

đ¨ My Design Concept
When creating this model, I wanted to capture both the historical roots of the artifact and give it a fresh, modern interpretation. I designed the helmet with intricate surface details to emphasize its decorative value, while ensuring that it still carries a sense of ancient power and mystery. The balance between sharp, clean lines and ornamental features reflects my idea of blending mythological authenticity with contemporary aesthetics. My goal was to make the helmet versatile: it can serve as a striking collectorâs piece, a mystical display object, or even as part of a cosplay costume for those who wish to embody the aura of Hades himself. Above all, I aimed to design something that feels both timeless and unique â a bridge between history, legend, and imagination.
Â
đ ď¸ How I Made It
The model was brought to life using my Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer. The printing process allowed me to capture even the finest details of the design, giving the helmet its distinctive character. After printing, I applied a professional finishing step by coating it with RAL 9007 (grey aluminum) spray paint. This particular color was chosen to mimic the look of aged, mythical metal, giving the surface a realistic metallic sheen while enhancing the overall presence of the piece. The result is a helmet that not only pays tribute to its mythological origin but also stands as a showcase of modern 3D printing and creative craftsmanship.

⨠Coming Soon
The myth grows in every direction:
- Small Version â A compact reinterpretation of the helmet, continuing the exploration of scale and presence.
- Extra Large Version for Crossplay â A performative, oversized edition designed for cosplay, exhibitions, and dramatic impact.
- New Mythical Objects â Inspired by ancient Greek legends, new artifacts such as the Aegis of Athena, Caduceus of Hermes, Torch of Hecate, Lyre of Apollo, and Sandals of Hermes are in developmentâeach exploring divine symbolism, transformation, and the tension between visibility and power.
Â
I have put a lot of work, time, and passion into this project. Every stepâfrom the initial design to the final coat of paintâwas an intensive process. It means a lot to me.
