【Compact and Practical】Flat Quick Scooping Net designed for daily aquarium maintenance! 🛠️🐠

Sharing a small tool I designed myself, a mini scooping net focused on daily care (scooping waste, dead shrimp, isolating small fish). It perfectly solves the pain points of commercially available fish nets being too large and clumsy to operate, prints fast, and feels excellent!

🌟 Core Features & Design Highlights:

• Extremely flat, precise operation: The net body is very thin, allowing easy access into corners and gaps between aquatic plants, precisely scooping up small particulate debris without disturbing the fish, and with minimal water resistance
• Printing friendly, time and material saving:
  • Very minimal support: With carefully optimized angle design, only very minimal support needs to be generated at the bottom of the net rim, which is easy to remove and leaves almost no marks
  • Fast forming: The model is small and usually completes printing in 30 minutes at 0.2mm layer height, making it very suitable as a "print along" small item
• Full of details, smooth feel:
  • Full chamfer treatment: All edges have been chamfered, ensuring the printed product's edges are smooth and won't cut hands, offering excellent aesthetics and feel
  • Reinforced connection structure: The handle connection specifically features reinforcing ribs and countersunk hole design, making it sturdy and durable
• Perfectly fits everyday chopsticks:
  • The handle hole is designed specifically for standard round chopsticks; when inserted, the length and weight distribution are just right, making it very responsive to control, with a feel far exceeding expectations!
  • Provides two connection methods:
    1. Screw fixation (recommended): Supports using an M2*6 or similar small screw tightened from the back, which is secure, reliable, and detachable at any time
    2. Glue fixation: If no screws are available, directly bond with 502/401 glue, which is also very secure and a permanent solution

🖨️ Printing Suggestions:

• Layer height: 0.2mm
• Infill: 15%-20%
• Support: Only needs normal manual support enabled; the support area is very small and extremely easy to remove
• Material: PLA/PLA+ is perfectly capable, PETG is better (better water resistance)
