Description

This is a model of the Trypanohyncha Ocellus (Species 64) from the Alien Earth series.

Painting this model would help to bring this creature to life. I made the parts printable separately to aid your painting process, or allow color variations without AMS. The assembly doesn't require glue, and this compartmentality also gives a little secret space inside the T. Ocellus' eyeball.

Printing:
The body can be printed with 0.16 mm High Quality, while the eye parts require 0.12 High Quality.

Assembly:
The eyes can be snapped into the eyeball, which can then be screwed onto the body.

Tips:
For the finishing touch, try applying some nail polish or UV resin on the surface to give it a slimy look.
You can use the provided "painting tool" to color the veins on the eyeball. Put a little paint on the inner side of the tool then slide and rotate it over the eyeball's surface.

Update: After publishing this model, I realised that T. Ocellus seemingly has seven arms and seven pupils in the series. Therefore, I created a version according to this in another print profile. The connections and irises are still the same, I only modified the eyeball and body objects slightly to reduce the number of irises and arms by one.
Sorry for the oversight!

There is another pose of the arms where the T. Ocellus can fit in a 10cm diameter container with its arms pointing upward! - My container design is now available! - Modular Sci-Fi Containment Capsule by B MakerWorld: Download Free 3D Models
