Description
Filament Storage Rack
This filament rack is designed for efficient and modular storage of up to 15 spools per unit, using 1-meter long, 20mm wooden rods.
Design Features:
- Rod Configuration: Each unit uses 4 horizontal rods, securely fixed between two base plates.
- Base Plate Attachment: Use 3x35mm wood screws for mounting. Pre-drilling is recommended using the included drilling guide for precise alignment.
- Stackable Design: Units can be stacked vertically thanks to the integrated grooves in the base plates. These grooves ensure a snug fit and stable stacking without additional fasteners.
Materials Needed:
- 2x Base Plates (PLA or PETG recommended)
- 4x 20mm diameter wooden rods (1 meter each)
- 8x 3x35mm wood screws
- Optional: Wood glue for added stability
Assembly Tips:
- Pre-drill holes using the guide to prevent splitting.
- Sand the rods lightly to ensure smooth spool rotation.
- For stacking, align grooves carefully to maintain stability.
