Inspired by the Parthenon’s architectural base and the Athenian meander (Greek-key) motif, this keepsake box turns a timeless symbol into a practical desk organizer.
In mythology and classical art, the meander represents eternity and unity—a fitting guard for your small treasures. The proportions echo a temple pedestal: stepped plinth, clean cornice, and continuous frieze wrapping all four sides.

Use it as a jewelry box, coin/dice tray for your myth-themed board games, or a tidy desk caddy. Prints cleanly with no supports, and you can color-swap or MMU the Greek-key for a striking two-tone look.

Features

  • Classical Greek-key (meander) relief on every side
  • Friction-fit lid (tuned for typical PLA tolerances)
  • Optional 4-cell divider insert for small items
  • Stepped temple plinth feet for a floating look
  • Optimized for easy printing and smooth top surfaces

Recommended print settings

  • Layer height: 0.20 mm (detail) or 0.24 mm (fast)
  • Walls: 3–4 perimeters; Top/Bottom: 5–7
  • Infill: 12–18% (gyroid or grid)
  • Material: PLA (ivory/marble for a stone look) or PETG
  • Supports:  Enabled in Print Profile and highly recommended. for better print quality.
  • Adhesion: normal skirt/brim if your bed needs it
  • Optional: single color-swap at the meander layers for contrast

Why it fits the theme

  • Pays homage to Athena and the city of Athens, where the meander adorned pottery, textiles, and temple friezes (including Parthenon elements).
  • The temple-base geometry and continuous frieze turn the box into a miniature shrine—a modern reliquary for everyday artifacts.
