Pillar of the nation - C919 (Smooth surface High precision)

COMAC C919 (English: COMAC C919) is China's first jet-powered medium-range mainline passenger aircraft independently developed in accordance with international airworthiness standards and possessing independent intellectual property rights, designed to target the 150-seat single-aisle narrow-body aircraft market. The C919 project was launched in 2007, made its maiden flight in 2017, and after completing all airworthiness certification work in September 2022, obtained the Civil Aviation Administration of China's issued Type Certificate.

On December 9, 2022, the first C919 aircraft was delivered to the airline.

The C919 has a length of 38.9 meters, a wingspan of 35.8 meters, a height of 11.95 meters, an empty weight of 45.7 tons, and a maximum commercial payload of 18.9 tons, classifying it as a C-class aircraft. It has a seating capacity of 158-192 passengers, a range of 4075-5555 kilometers, and features safety, economy, comfort, and environmental friendliness, meeting the operational needs of airlines for different routes. It adopts advanced aerodynamic design, advanced propulsion systems, and advanced materials, resulting in lower carbon emissions and higher fuel efficiency, and uses the advanced new-generation LEAP-1C engine, giving it a significant economic competitive advantage. The unit price of the C919 aircraft is 0.99 hundred million USD, equivalent to 6.53 hundred million RMB.
