Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you like what you see, consider giving  me a boost! they help out a lot. Don’t forget to like and follow for more 3D prints and creative builds!

Step back in time with Petteia, a game once played by philosophers, scholars, and soldiers of ancient Greece, even mentioned by Plato and Aristotle. This recreation brings the timeless contest of logic and skill to your tabletop with a fully 3D-printable set. The design includes a detailed board, storage base, drawers, and themed counters, but you only need the board and counters to enjoy playing.

With simple rules but deep strategy, players outmaneuver each other by flanking and capturing pieces. Quick to learn yet challenging to master, Petteia is perfect for history enthusiasts, board game lovers, and 3D-printing makers alike.

Print the complete set for an authentic, stylish build, or keep it minimal with just the essentials. Either way, you’ll experience a true ancestor of modern strategy games like chess.

New: Travel Version Available!
Now also offered in a compact travel edition, fully A1 Mini compatible. The travel board is designed for portability and requires just two 8×2 round magnets (one for the board and one for the base) to secure the lid while traveling.

Whether you print the full set or the travel edition, Petteia offers a unique way to connect with history while enjoying a strategic game that’s easy to learn but hard to master.

A Quick Note
Each model is tested before sharing, but every printer is a little different — sometimes a small tweak is all it takes for a perfect print. If you run into trouble, try:

  • Giving your build plate a good clean
  • Rechecking bed leveling or Z-offset
  • Slowing down the first few layers
  • Using a brim or raft for extra grip

Still having issues? Let me know in the comments — I’m always happy to help troubleshoot or improve the design!
