There is now a new print profile, with stronger struts and larger holes for the heat-set inserts, which has also been adapted in size for the “smaller” printers (P1S, P1P, P2S, X1C, A1).

After our wooden birdhouse had met its end, the choice was either to buy a totally overpriced birdhouse from a store or simply print one
However, since I didn't like the birdhouses offered (at that time) in the 3D databases, I quickly designed one myself
The birdhouse has a holder for fat balls There are water drainage holes in the base, which can also be used for screwing it down (for example, to a balcony board in my case)
The bottom part has been slightly revised to make it easier to print on its sides - it is no longer a complete flat surface, but is now divided into three arches for a cleaner print
For assembly, 10x M3 heat-set inserts and 10x M3 screws are needed
I printed the birdhouse with Bambu ASA so that it is definitely weather-resistant When printing with ASA, pay attention to the chamber temperature, otherwise there will be warping (especially with the bottom part)
I scaled down the entire model in the print profile to 94.5% so that the base of the bottom part measures 233x233 mm This allows you to fully utilize the print bed on the A1, P1P, P1S, and X1C without having to make modifications H2x users can scale the entire model back up to 100% to get the full size of 250x250


There is also a newer version with a drawer for the feed for easy cleaning and refilling
