Description

Print your own faceplate with nice textured grips!  This was a huge headache to get just right, and I'm sure someone will improve them significantly.  I separated the profiles into 3 difficulty levels.

Easy is PLA only.  The grips are simply fuzzy skin texture.  By far the easiest and most straightforward method.

Intermediate is PLA shell and custom textured TPU grips printed separately.  (I recommend trying a flexible resin print of the grips!) You can then glue the grips onto the shell.

Advanced is true multi-material PLA shell and custom textured TPU grips printed together, already assembled.  This, of course, is mainly for H2D owners (or other tool changer printers)  However, the model pictured was printed on my P1S using TPU95A with the help of my modded AMS.  You can also, of course, just use TPU for AMS as well.  Though I think that pretty significantly minimizes the “Advanced” title for the profile LOL.

Oh one more tip - Print the shell parts in Intermediate in ABS, and you can hydrodip designs onto it without any painting necessary!

Let me know how yours come out! I had quite a few failures trying to get this just right!
