Description

Needed a bracket to attach the honeycomb aeronautical flight sim controllers to the underneath of my desk, attaching to the amazing openGrid system.

This uses the superb mount system by mm0070 on Printables (https://www.printables.com/model/1343539-honeycomb-alpha-and-bravo-quick-mount-large-plate) - but these brackets connect to openGrid using 3 of the M5 lockable snaps that I created: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1787826-opengrid-lockable-snap-with-m3-4-5-bolt#profileId-1905134

You'll need two of the mounts, then 6 snaps (each with an M5 nut and bolt). This is in addition to the main panel which mounts on the Honeycomb unit (see DeWarePeb's link, although I used a modified all in one panel).

Still supports the original's magnetic lockable latch.

The print profile has 2 plates, one with left/right mounts, and the other with 6 of the lockable openGrid m5 snaps.

I may make some further iterations of this design, maybe something to hold the center/rear of the units a bit more solidly. Any thoughts or questions please let me know. Hope someone finds it useful.
