Description

Hello everyone !

Update 17.03.2026:
Because not everybody likes or wants a barricade stop, I have prepared two other middle sections to choose from. They are available as separate print profiles.

Compatible with version 1.3 and 1.2.1.

1. Version with small barricade stop

           link to print profile: here

2. Version without barricade stop

           link to print profile: here

Update 13.03.2026:

This update introduces the long-awaited non-foldable rear part.
However, it is still mounted using an M8 screw !

The new version is marked v1.3.

Compatibility

The new rear part is compatible with the previous version (1.2.1).
However, because the rear part is now approximately 2 mm wider, you will need to reprint the shoulder and cheek support parts to ensure proper fit.

Assembly

The rear part connects to the middle section using the same screw as the foldable version:

  • M8 × 50 screw

To assemble it, you will also need:

  • A long Allen (hex) wrench, about 250 mm long, because the screw must be inserted all the way through a hole in the upper part.

Alternative Tool

Instead of the long Allen wrench, you can also use a couple of extensions for drill (like the one shown).

Because… well, it works 🙂

Update 28.11.2025: Grip with TPU Pads

Added a print profile (for H2D/H2C) combining PETG-CF with soft TPU 90A. The TPU sections include a bit of fuzzy skin for improved feel.

The entire part is printed as a single piece, so it is compatible only with dual-nozzle printers.

UPDATE 20.11.2025: Version 1.2.1 is live !

Main print profile is for H2D printer

there is separate print profile for only front section (it is 40mm shorter) to be printed on 256x256 print bed (X1, P1,P2S, A1 printers)

What was changed:

  • Moved the front screw mount 4 mm up and added positioning block underneath:
  • the area where the middle part connects to the rear part was widened by 1 mm for strengthening
  • The folding stock now folds to the right side so that it closes over the bolt (a left-side folding version will be available as a separate profile).

  • the shoulder support has been changed for better looks

Overall, the alignment is now much better (unfortunately not 100% perfect yet; there’s still room for improvement).

also i suggest use slightly shorter M8 screw on back side (M8x50mm)

I will continue working on this project, but I need to restock on filament…

This project is using up so much of it, so any kind of support would be greatly appreciated.

now i am working on TPU infused parts (cheekrest, shoulder support and grip)

INFO 13.11.2025: Version 1.2 is on hold. I’ve found a small issue with the connection between the front and middle sections — after screwing everything together, the rifle barrel doesn’t align properly with the front section. I’m not sure how I missed it.
I’m sorry about that; a fix is on the way.

UPDATE 12.11.2025: and it is here !

Presenting version 1.2 !

This version features screw mounts for the main parts. It also comes standard with a foldable stock and a new cheek rest.

The cheek rest is compatible with the previous version, so you can use it there as well if you like.

Middle section has also added static supports, they will easy break after print with the rest of supports.

it was done to prevent warping of PETG

Additional parts needed for this version:

  • 2x M8 hex screw preferably (M8x50), front could be a little longer
  • 2x M8x16 washers (washers are needed for connecting front and middle section, back section does not use them
  • 2x self-locking M8 nut

for fordable back you need:

  • compression spring 5x15mm
  • M3x30 screw

Assembly:

Front and middle section:

  1. Insert washers into a slots of front and middle section
  2. insert M8 self-locking nut in middle section slot
  3. insert M8 screw in front section
  4. connect pieces and screw them together

middle and back section:
1. turn chassis upside down

2. insert M8 self-locking nut into the slot

3. slide handgrip - this will secure M8 nut in place so it not fall over

4. insert screw in back piece mount and screw parts together

INFO 09.11.2025: Another update is comming :)

Since I’m not really fond of the idea of gluing the parts together to increase the model’s stiffness, I came up with the idea of connecting the front and middle sections using a screw.
This way, we won’t lose the ability to replace modules if needed, and it also won’t be necessary to reprint the entire assembly in case of any changes.

parts will be also a little bit easier to print

Initially, the following parts will be needed:

  • M8 hex socket screw
  • 2 M8x16 mm washers
  • Self-locking nut

Prototype looks like this:

UPDATE 30.10.2025: published separate print profile for foldable stock !!

foldable stock needs two not 3d printed parts for assembly:

  • compression spring 5x15mm
  • M3x30 screw

check print profile photos if you need help for assembly

Foldable stock is compatible with V1 and V1.1 version (with or without barricade stop)

UPDATE 21.10.2025: Added V1.1 with barricade stop version for 256x256 printer bed (A1/X1/P1)

UPDATE 19.10.2025: Introducing Version 1.1 with the barricade stop!
Please check out the new profile.

Besides the added barricade stop, there are also some small design changes and updates.

*Version 1.1 model from pictures was printed with Bambu PETG-HF on H2D without support material

what else changed:
small redesign in rear section:

Redesigned handgrip:

and other small adjustments and design changes that not affect functionality of previous version

all parts from version 1.0 are compatible with V1.1 so if you want barricade stop, you only need to print middle section, same with new handgrip or trigger guard

UPDATE 21.09.2025: Changed print profiles with modified middle section to fix problem with fitting of stock trigger (problem with safety switch)

INFO 21.09.2025: there is a slight problem with fitting if you have stock trigger (all measurements i made was on timney accessory trigger)

right now i am working on solution, soon i will upload changed version (only middle section of chassis is affected)

I present the first version of a stock for the CZ457.

The idea came from the fact that I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on an aftermarket stock, and the standard one from the CZ457 LRP—well, it is what it is.

Main project assumptions:

  • Entirely 3D printed (using only the materials that already come with the rifle—i.e., the two mounting screws).
  • Modular design: the stock is assembled from several parts, so if necessary, only a single piece can be replaced.
  • There’s an option to glue all parts together to further increase rigidity—though in my opinion it isn’t necessary (I didn’t do it - yet).

Description:
The stock fits perfectly with the CZ457 LRP model (I don’t know about others—if you’re unsure, I recommend printing only the middle section with low infill [plate no. 2] to check if it sits well on your rifle).

The stock has an ARCA SWISS rail underneath, and on the buttstock, two Picatinny rails on two levels.

It has adjustable cheek rest and shoulder support.

The whole thing is printed with 100% infill for maximum rigidity and increased weight.

  • Weight for H2D printer version: around 1220g + supports, rinsing, cleaning tower.
  • Weight for X1/A1 version: around 1120g + supports, rinsing, cleaning tower.

Chassis is about 87cm long for H2D version, and about 81cm long for X1/A1 version

The filament I used is PETG-CF from Bambu Lab—black and gray. It looks great and is very stiff.

I also suggest using a support interface to keep the edges clean (unfortunately, there are quite a few supports here). I used BambuLab PLA Matte.

If you are not using support material, there may be a bit more support-cleaning “fun” to make everything fit properly :)
Also, some parts might fit quite tightly, so you may need to use a little force to join them.

Please if you have any suggestions about this chassis, let me know
