Description

First model here! Please be kind 🙂

I modeled this in Onshape from scratch inspired by other models on Maker World and in the style of  “ubiquitous” screwdriver handles. This version requires a 10×10mm magnet, which is stronger than most, but it makes for a secure-feeling hold on the ¼" bit. Plus, the print, magnet, and bit combine in weight to be quite hefty. I also prototyped until I found the right amount of "reveal" proportions with the 1-inch bits I have.

Two Print Profiles are included:

  1. Fitment Quality: Verify that the magnet and bit will fit for you
  2. Screwdriver Durability: High infill for strength

In my testing, a 10×10mm magnet barely fits, resulting in no wiggle room. When the print pauses, insert the magnet.

Required materials:

  • 10×10mm cylindrical magnet
  • Âź" × 1" bit (any length will work, and any type)
