Description

This is a remix of the excellent Andrewrok bullet feeder on Thingiverse. I wanted a simplified version to fill up the tube on a Lee APP press so I made some changes to suit.

  1. The parts show are only a fraction of the available options available in the original file on Thingiverse. The original feeder can be set up for nose up or nose down bullet feeding as well as case feeding, both in multiple calibers.
  2. The original readme and link to a YouTube assembly video are in the original file on Thingiverse. Please follow the link in the remix attribution of this post and give him a thumbs up for his amazing work!
  3. I have never printed or even seen IRL a bullet feeder so it was a bit of a leap of faith. The best video I could find to help me conceptualize what I was about to jump into is linked here.

  4. Major change to original: parts were added to make this a manual turn / feed only. No accommodations for a motor /sensors / etc. There is now a plate turning wheel on the top and bottom for convenience.
  5. Modified the nose down plate to have a spring tube adapter integrated and included a Lee App bullet tube to spring tube adapter. These work specifically with this spring tube: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6NLSLNW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
  6. Modified the mount with a relief to accommodate the bottom plate turning wheel.
  7. Created a simple bracket that allowed me to mount the bullet feeder on a shelf next to the press.
  8. The wall / infill choice I made were probably overkill, adjust to your preference. Some items were printed in a different color for aesthetic reasons only, multicolor not required. All of the remixed items were created using the Bambu slicer, not in a CAD program, so no .step files are available.
