When playing with RC crawlers, the battery capacity is often insufficient for extended fun. High-capacity polymer soft pack batteries are usually around 200+ and not very safe. Among many battery options, I chose 21700 cylindrical batteries as the main power source. It is secured with 6 M3*10mm screws (M3*8mm can also be used).

Using Xina Aneng 21700 batteries, the overall configuration is 2 parallel, 3 series, with four cells on the left and two on the right laid flat (it is recommended to use a spot welder with copper strips (nickel strips are also fine) 0.15-0.2mm for connections).

The balance connector is a 3S balance connector (there are many on Taobao; any with silicone wires will work). The diagram includes balance connector fixation.

The top uses a 3.7V-72V lithium battery capacity detection board as shown in the figure below (dimensions: 40*15*2MM). It connects directly to the total positive and total negative terminals on the battery/XT60 connector. After 10 seconds of button detection, it automatically powers off.

XT60 plug used: TX60E-F female connector (that's what the seller said anyway; for the same model, use whichever is cheaper). The figure below shows how to connect the balance connector.
