Drying Box / Dehumidifying Box

Provides desiccant placement boxes in various sizes, which can hold molecular sieves, dry silica gel beads, and other desiccants.

L size: 145X90x25mm, can also be scaled up or down.

M size: 110X70X23mm,

S size: 80X50x22mm,

When scaling up or down, it is recommended to choose models with similar specifications to ensure sufficient tolerance (for example, if 130mm is needed, you can choose to scale down the L-size box).

I. Design Essentials and Considerations

1. Ventilation Hole Design:
   • This is critical. The box needs to allow air (and moisture in the air) to enter and contact the desiccant, but without allowing desiccant powder to spill out.
   • Best Practice: Use a fine mesh with a mesh aperture between 0.4mm - 0.8mm. This effectively prevents leakage of common silica gel desiccants (particle diameter typically 1-3mm) and ensures air circulation.
2. Sealing:
   • The box itself closes tightly. A sliding snap mechanism firmly holds the lid after closing, also preventing desiccant from leaking through the seams.
   • Design Choices:
     • Snap Lid: Easy to open and close, simple to print, and convenient to use.
3. Size and Capacity:
   • L size: 145X90x25mm, can also be scaled up or down.
   • M size: 110X70X23mm,
   • S size: 80X50x22mm,
4. Installation Method:
   • Standing Type: Flat bottom, can be placed in a corner.
   • Embedded Type: Placed in certain equipment that requires drying and dehumidification.
5. Maintainability:
   • Designed for easy opening, allowing desiccant to be removed for regeneration (baking) or replacement.
