🚢 Bismarck 3D – The Giant of the Seas Revived in Miniature! ⚓

With passion and precision, I have recreated in 3D the legendary battleship Bismarck, a symbol of naval power and military engineering of the 20th century 🌊.

The project was entirely modeled by me with Fusion 360, giving life to two versions designed for 3D printing and modeling enthusiasts:

🔧 580 mm Assemblable Version A detailed and modular model, consisting of multiple pieces to be assembled manually 🛠️. Perfect for those who love to build and customize, with an impressive length of 58 cm that does justice to the majesty of the original 🏗️.

🖨️ AMS-Friendly Version Optimized for printing with an AMS (Automatic Material System), this version is partially assemblable and designed for smoother and more automated printing with a maximum size of 31 cm 🎯. Ideal for those seeking a balance between detail and practicality, but above all looking for a model to display on their desk.

💬Unfortunately, for A1 mini, I couldn't scale the entire project as I did for the 31 cm version, as the remaining pieces become very small and certainly not printable. So my advice for those who don't want to miss out on the Bismarck using the fantastic A1 mini is definitely the assemblable version, so you can get the model even for the small Bambu Lab printer.

💬The 58cm assemblable version requires the use of glue to attach the central antenna, cannons, and the remaining components. I personally did not glue the cannons to achieve a more realistic effect, allowing me to rotate them as I wish, but the rest were glued.

💬The 31 cm version does not require glue, the pieces fit together quite well "I recommend always performing calibration before printing projects like these, to achieve the right compromise in part tolerance" this is a small tip I share with you.

💬In addition to these two versions, I have prepared an additional print file for those who own the AMS. I have included the cannons with the barrels already mounted and positioned in the file to be printed with AMS, as you can see in the photo below.

💬A very important note regarding the Bismarck is that the original model features the flag that was once used by Germany during World War II at the bow and stern. For obvious reasons, this cannot be published due to certain laws. Furthermore, I find it correct and just, even though the model I created aims to portray a piece of history, and I would never want to encourage or spread a wrong message. I reiterate that my model of the legendary battleship Bismarck is for modeling and for reliving a piece of history.

💬Assembly is truly elementary; it doesn't require much effort. Everything is designed to fit piece by piece with the help of glue. I also feel obligated to advise you to sand the pieces that need to be glued with 320 / 400 grit to increase the adhesion of the pieces at the time of gluing.

🎨 Every detail, from the turrets to the decks, has been meticulously cared for to respect the proportions and aesthetics of the original ship. The result? A model that is not just a print, but a historical tribute 🇩🇪.

💬 If you are a history enthusiast, 3D printing fan, or simply love creative challenges, this project is ready to set sail into your heart.
