Description

Print Specs

  • Print Time: ~30 minutes
  • Filament Use: ~30 grams

The Bottle Opener 2.0 is a lightweight, 3D printed assistive tool designed to help individuals with limited fine motor skills or hand coordination open bottles with ease. Its end securely grips standard bottle caps, while the extended lever allows users to apply light push or pull force instead of requiring a firm grip or twist.

This model is highly efficient to produce—requiring only 30 minutes of print time and approximately 30 grams of filament per unit—making it cost-effective and easy to reproduce for personal use, community distribution, or large-scale assistive technology initiatives.

Durable yet simple, the Bottle Opener 2.0 demonstrates how accessible design and rapid prototyping can empower independence in everyday tasks.
