Although the new version filament box is designed for easy production, it is slightly less convenient for part storage compared to the old version. To solve this problem, I designed a set of 'New Version Filament Box Stack Clips', including four dedicated clips (B1, B2, F1, F2), allowing the new version filament box to conveniently store parts like the old version, while also supporting stacking, keeping it tidy and saving space. In addition, the bottom cover is reusable, and with the cutting tool I designed, you can easily cut the bottom cover and divide it into multiple compartments, making it practical and eco-friendly!

How to Use

Follow these simple steps to transform the new version filament box into a practical storage tool:

1. Prepare the Bottom Cover:
   • Use my specially designed cutting tool to carefully cut the bottom cover of the new version filament box, keeping the entire bottom cover for later use.

1. Install the Stack Clips:
   • Insert the F1 and F2 clips (facing forward) into the front side of the bottom cover, ensuring they are securely fastened.
   • Insert the B1 and B2 clips (facing backward) into the rear side of the bottom cover, also ensuring they are secure.

1. Stackable Storage:
   • Using the protruding design of the clips, stack multiple modified filament boxes layer by layer to keep them tidy and save space.

1. Bottom Cover Dividers (Optional):
   • Cut the removed bottom cover to an appropriate size and place it back into the box as a divider.

• With the fixation of the F (front) and B (back) clips, it can be flexibly divided into two, three, or four compartments, making it convenient for categorized storage of parts.

Filament Box Combination Methods

The new version filament box stack clips offer various combination methods to meet different storage needs:

• Single-Layer Storage: Use only one set of stack clips (F1, F2, B1, B2) to transform the filament box into a single-layer parts box, suitable for storing a small number of parts.
• Multi-Layer Stacking: Stack multiple modified filament boxes to save desk space, suitable for managing a large number of parts.
• Compartmented Combination: According to part size, cut the bottom cover and place it into the box, dividing it into 2 to 4 compartments for easy classification.
• Mixed Use: Combine single-layer and multi-layer stacking, with some boxes compartmented for small parts and others using the entire layer for large parts, to flexibly adapt to different scenarios.
