Towel / Cloth Press - Arthritis helping tool
Print Profile(1)

Description
I originally designed the Towel Press for my mother. She has severe arthritis in her hands and was beginning to struggle with wringing out dishcloths. Traditional wringing required strength and grip that became painful for her.
This tool changes that: instead of relying on hand strength, the Towel Press allows her to place a wet cloth inside the tube and simply use her body weight on the plunger to press the water out. No twisting, no strain – just an easy press.
According to her, it works very well and helps reduce effort in daily life. Since this design has been so useful for her, I wanted to share it here so others who face the same challenges can also benefit.
Print & Material Advice:
For best results, I recommend printing this design in PETG. It’s strong, durable, and more resistant to water compared to PLA, making it a better choice for everyday kitchen use.
