Description
After buying a 3D Printer, filament spools accumulated more and more, with no proper place to store them. I searched various sideboards, shelves, and racks on e-commerce platforms, but they offered insufficient utilization for spool storage and their sizes were not suitable for the intended placement. So I designed and printed this holder
You will need to purchase stainless steel hollow tubes yourself, with specifications of 10mm outer diameter and 1mm wall thickness. Have the seller cut the length according to your needs; this is usually free. You will also need several M4 2cm screws and nuts
Be sure to print with PETG material
It is highly recommended to print a test of the holder's round hole first. Due to variations in stainless steel hollow tube precision, extruders, and filament, you need to find the appropriate round hole size. Try inserting the stainless steel hollow tube you purchased to find a round hole with a suitable diameter, then select the holder with that appropriate round hole size to print
Two holders plus two stainless steel hollow tubes form one set. Multiple sets can be connected and combined arbitrarily
