I created a business card holder inspired by the iconic shape of a Brembo brake caliper, combining functionality with a motorsport aesthetic. This model is designed to be practical yet eye-catching, making it a unique piece for any desk or workspace.

For those interested in 3D printing the design, I highly recommend using PLA filament, as it provides a clean and reliable finish for this type of model. To ensure the best print quality, it’s very important to enable supports, especially to avoid issues on the underside and overhanging surfaces. Without supports, the surface quality may be compromised, so keeping them on is essential.

In terms of print settings, a 0.16 mm layer height works particularly well for this model. It delivers a smoother surface finish and preserves the finer details of the design, making the brake caliper shape stand out more clearly. Lower layer heights may increase print time, but the results are worth it for a more professional look.
