Description

My design for a digital plunger unit for vpin cabinets. I've used this design for years now and it works really well. The slider mover in the pic is replaced with a version 2 that now allows the plunger to be rotated by the player. This fits a 100mm (10kOhm) sliding potentiometer. I have this mounted in a cab built with 12mm MDF but this should fit thicker cab walls as well using longer screws.

Apart from the files here, you'll need:

  • 1x 8mm metal rod with fitting springs
  • 2x M5 max 10mm threaded inserts
  • 2x M5 screws with fitting spring washers
  • 1x screw to fasten the potentiometer slider mover part to the rod.
  • 1x 100mm sliding potentiometer
