Descending Mechanism:
From a design perspective, the 7 rings are sized in a gradually decreasing sequence toward the center. Functionally, as tissues are used up, the rings descend accordingly, applying consistent pressure on the stack to ensure smooth dispensing. What makes it even more engaging is the subtle tactile feedback: each time you pull a tissue, the rings lift slightly and drop back down with a clear, crisp sound.

Printing the 7-Ring:
Before proceeding with the full print, it is recommended to first print one complete set of rings. This test will determine if your machine and material can meet the design requirements. If the printed rings move smoothly, congratulations—you can continue with the remaining printing process.
If you want a 7-color ring, do not use multi-color printing for the entire set, as it consumes significant time and material. It is also not advisable to print each ring individually. Since the rings are designed with relatively tight tolerances, printing them one at a time may challenge the precision, repeatability, and reproducibility of your machine. Instead, it is better to print all rings in one color at a time, then disassemble and reassemble them into a set of seven different colors.
Avoid using fiber-filled materials, as their rough surface texture may compromise the smooth movement of the rings.
The 7 rings are detachable! So you can easily give them different colors~~
Assembly and Disassembly of the 7-Ring:
- As shown in the diagram, push one diagonal end to the lowest position and the opposite end to the highest position, then apply firm pressure to pop it out. The inner rings tend to be tighter due to their smaller size and higher torsional resistance, so more force may be needed to remove them. Don’t worry they are not easily damaged.
When reassembling, it's recommended to follow the same path as during disassembly: install from top to bottom, and make sure not to reverse the orientation.
