Description
The Xiaomi Mi Dome Camera 2K version has been updated, after caliper measurement, the sphere diameter is 75mm, and the maximum base diameter is 78mm
C700 configuration has been updated: head diameter 82mm, base diameter 81mm
Models with other sizes will no longer be modified; you can scale the model yourself using the following steps:
The internal head size for the Dome Camera 2 and 3 versions is 78.4mm, and the internal base size is 76mm, use calipers to measure these two dimensions of your camera model, divide your measured value by the original dimension value to get the scaling ratio. For example, if your head size is 80mm, 80/78.4=1.020, then scale the head parts (head, antenna, visor) to 102.0%, if the base size is 82, 82/76=1.07894, then scale all other parts to 107.89%, be sure to calculate separately, to prevent a tight fit, you can add 0.5% to the calculated result.
October 9th update: added a shield with a slot, for mounting rocket launcher ammunition, added engraved lines to the head for a more accurate reproduction of the shape, and fixed the head texture.
The rocket launcher and heat hawk have been uploaded to new links, please download them from the homepage, with other weapons such as the Zaku machine gun and Iron Fist coming later.
TIPS: Considering filament shrinkage, there might be errors in model accuracy, so everyone can first try printing configuration 3 for testing, this will print two rings, the large ring corresponds to the upper part, and the small ring corresponds to the base, if they can pass through smoothly, you can print directly, or use them as a scaling reference to scale the model yourself; first scale the rings to a suitable size that can fit your camera, then enlarge all models by the same factor (if you have determined the scaling ratio, it is recommended not to print everything at once, first print the chest and head, and if these are good, then print the rest)
The Zaku skin for the Xiaomi Mi Dome Camera 3 is here, each part has been separated to reduce support material usage, the shoulder shield and spikes are detachable and replaceable, the head has a black visor in the eye area for a more accurate reproduction of the shape.
The dimensions of the Xiaomi Mi Dome Camera 3 are: upper sphere diameter 78mm, lower cylinder diameter 75.5mm, please ensure the dimensions are within this range before printing.
Due to the original Zaku design, the eye movement is somewhat restricted vertically and horizontally, some compromises may be necessary, suitable for fixed-position monitoring.
