Customization options:
- Ball recess:
The cavity for the ball can be adjusted by modifying the diameter of the respective negative part. Currently, it is set to 66.5 mm, which provides a snug fit for tennis balls. For reference, the official diameter of tennis balls ranges from 65.4 mm to 68.6 mm, while padel balls range from 63.5 mm to 67.7 mm. Initials:
The negative part for the initials is a simple text shape. You can select and edit it in Bambu Studio to add your own initials. Keep in mind that not all characters will print correctly with any font. I recommend using stencil fonts, like this one.
- Top variations:
The top comes in two versions: fat and slim. The fat version is sturdier but marking can only be done with spray. The slim version also supports marking with a permanent marker. - Hinges:
For connecting the base with the top, you can print either the permanent bars (better looking, non-removable) or the removable ones. Opt for the removable version if you plan to print multiple tops with different stencils and want to swap them on the same base.
