Parametric Ballpoint Pen Jig

This Jig for laser processing of ballpoint pens
The design is parametrically built and can be directly adapted to different ballpoint pen sizes in the Makerworld Parametric Model Maker in your web browser.

Customizable Parameters

• Magnet Diameter – Diameter of the magnets inserted into the jig (for fixation on a metal surface).
• Magnet Height – Height of the magnets; determines the insertion depth of the magnet holes.
• Pen Diameter – Outer diameter of the ballpoint pen.
• Pen Clip Diameter – Diameter with clip on the ballpoint pen.
• Pen Clip Length – Length of the clip; determines how far the recess for the clip extends.
• Pen Clip Width – Width of the clip recess.

Function

The jig enables precise positioning and fixation of the ballpoint pen. The profile shape ensures that the pen lies securely and the clip is precisely aligned for both side and clip-opposite engravings!. Ideal for anyone who wants to personalize or process ballpoint pens.

Recommended Print Settings

• Material: PLA, PETG or ABS
• Layer Height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 10–25%
• Supports: Not required
• Orientation: Flat on the bottom

Due to the customizable structure, the model can be easily adapted to different pen shapes or magnet sizes – simply enter the parameters in the Makerworld Parametric Model Maker and generate the adapted STL/3FM.
