The T-6 Texan is finally here! Known as the “pilot maker,” this legendary aircraft trained tens of thousands of Allied pilots during WWII and beyond. With its robust design, great handling, and distinctive growl, the Texan became one of the most important stepping stones from trainer cockpits to fighter squadrons.

Fun facts:

  • Over 15,000 T-6 Texans were built between the 1930s and 1950s.
  • The aircraft was used by more than 60 countries worldwide, some of them flying Texans well into the 1980s.
  • Even today, you can see beautifully restored T-6s performing at airshows.

On a personal note – I was honestly blown away by the success of the A-10 MasterBuilds crowdfunding. Thank you so much for the massive support! It already has me sketching ideas for the next entry in the MasterBuilds series.

I also owe you an apology for the break in the kit card series. It wasn’t just because of MasterBuilds, but also a very intense period at my main job. Now I’m back with fresh energy, and new kit cards like the Texan will be coming again.

Hope you enjoy building this one – for me, the Texan is a perfect mix of history, character, and charm.
