Tired of magnetic cleaners that just drag dirt around or scrapers that threaten to scratch your aquarium? So was I. That's why I created AquaSwipe, a project born out of the need for truly effective and safe cleaning.

The Difference That Makes the Magic Happen:

• 💧 Quick Lock System for Wipes: This is not a simple felt cleaner. The quick-release lock allows you to firmly attach a piece of wet wipe (or paper towel). Ideal for removing that stubborn biofilm or thin green algae that other cleaners ignore, leaving your glass with crystal clarity.
• 🧲 Smart Design with Hidden Magnets: No more crude designs or the need for super glue! The AquaSwipe uses 8 small, accessible magnets (6x3mm). Best of all? They are inserted during printing (with a simple pause at layer 17), becoming completely sealed inside the plastic. This ensures a 100% clean look and, most importantly, no chance of rust or magnet contact with your aquarium water.
• 🐠 Safe for All Aquariums: Using the wet wipe as a cleaning surface creates a soft barrier, making AquaSwipe perfect for glass and acrylic aquariums, preventing scratches that blades and scrapers can cause.

This project has been optimized to be functional, easy to print, and aesthetically pleasing. It's the tool your aquarium kit was missing!

Print Instructions (Print Instructions)

This model was designed to be printed simply and without complications.

• Recommended Material: PETG or ASA are ideal for their water resistance and durability. PLA may work, but it is not recommended for long-term submersion.
• Layer Height: 0.2mm
• Infill: 20-25%
• Supports: Not needed! The model was designed to print perfectly without them.

🔴 THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP! 🔴 You MUST configure a PAUSE AT LAYER 17 (or at 3.4mm height if you are using 0.2mm layers) in your slicer (PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, Cura).

• When the print pauses, insert the 4 magnets (6x3mm) into the holes of each of the two main parts.
• Pro Tip: Pay attention to polarity! Place the magnets in the first part, then bring the magnets of the second part close to ensure they attract, not repel, before inserting them.
• After inserting all 8 magnets, simply resume printing. The printer will perfectly seal them inside the model.

Assembly (Assembly)

Assembly is ridiculously easy:

1. Print all three parts following the instructions above (with the pause for the magnets).
2. Take the outer piece (the one without the lock recess) and place a piece of your wipe on it.
3. Press the Trava_QuickLock.stl piece onto the wipe, fitting it firmly. The wipe will be secured.
4. Place the inner part inside the aquarium, bring the outer part close to the outside of the glass and... voila! The magnetic magic will do the rest.
