Stop the Slam! Cabinet Drawer/Door Stopper
Print Profile(1)

Description
Tired of your cabinet drawers or doors slamming shut? Especially late at night when you're trying to be quiet? I designed this simple, effective 3D-printed stopper to solve that exact problem!
This little print is a lifesaver for kitchens, bathrooms, or workshop cabinets. It provides a soft cushion that stops the door or drawer from hitting the frame directly, significantly reducing noise and preventing wear and tear on your furniture.
Why Print This?
- Silence is Golden: Say goodbye to that jarring "thwack" every time a door closes.
- Super Easy to Install: No hardware or a tiny dab of double-sided tape is all you need.
- Print-in-Place Option: Design it so you don't need any assembly—just print and go!
- Customizable: Easily scale it or adjust the design to fit different cabinet gaps.
Print Details & Settings
For the best results—meaning a durable but slightly compliant part—here are the settings I recommend:
- Material: TPU (Flexible) is ideal, as it acts as a true bumper and absorbs impact best. If you don't have TPU, PLA or PETG will work, but you'll lose some of the "soft stop" effect.
- Infill: 100% (You want it solid for durability and function, but it's small, so it prints fast regardless).
- Supports: None (Should be designed to print without them!)
- Brim/Raft: Only if you have adhesion issues; otherwise, not necessary.
How to Install It
- Clean: Wipe down the area on your cabinet frame where the door/drawer hits.
- Attach: Use a piece of high-quality double-sided foam tape on the back of the stopper if needed.
- Place: Stick the stopper in the path of the door or drawer edge. Test the door a few times to ensure it's positioned correctly for a soft closure.
