Description
- Air vent clip version: Can be fixed to car or indoor air vents.
- Desktop ornament version: Can be placed stably as a desktop decoration Printing and Assembly Details
1. **Hand Assembly**: No additional accessories are needed, just insert a piece of ≤4 cm φ1.75mm filament.
2. **Eye Treatment**: When printing, you need to change to white filament once (manual change if no AMS is available); finally, you can simply blacken the eyeballs with a pen. Alternatively, after printing, simply color it with a marker for the same good effect.
3. **Leg Spring Selection**: The model file includes printed springs, but after testing, the effect was too stiff (the legs would stick up too high). It is more recommended to use extension springs, which are low-cost and effective.
- Specification 0.3*3 (wire diameter 0.3mm, outer diameter 3mm): Softer hardness, gentler rebound.
- Specification 0.4*3 (wire diameter 0.4mm, outer diameter 3mm): Initially stiffer, softens after slight stretching, stronger adaptability.
- Purchase suggestion: Both specifications are 2 yuan per meter with free shipping, 1 meter can make multiple; adjust the length as needed when cutting, be careful that the cut ends are sharp to avoid scratches.
You can also buy those with fixed lengths and hanging loops. Just search for 'extension spring' on major platforms. As long as the extension spring has an outer diameter of 3mm, it will work.
4. **Shoe Printing**: 100% infill is recommended; although it uses more than 1 gram of material compared to 15% infill, the increased weight makes the kicking effect more pronounced
Print Settings and Notes
- Basic settings: The 3mf file has all adjusted parameters pre-set, just print directly.
- Key parameter modification: When printing spring components, you need to change the preset 0.5 in the 3D printer process profile to 0.45, otherwise, the print will fail.
- Wall generator mode: Always use 'Classic mode'; Although Arachne mode will reduce spring elasticity and make joints extremely prone to breaking, it is not recommended for use
